DIVING WITH US

The Red Sea is one of the most popular World-class dive destinations. The diving is split between the North and the South. The new Red Sea Aggressor II will offer guests a 7-night itinerary diving the best of the North to Ras Mohamed and the Straits of Tiran. Just off shore lives thousands of species of fish in beautiful crystal clear water with coral gardens, historical Shipwrecks, breath-taking soft corals, and pinnacles. There are over one thousand species of fish in the Red Sea, 20 percent of which can be found nowhere else in the World. Where the Egyptian desert sands end, a marine paradise begins.

Diving in Egypt is available all year. The best season is from March to mid-December. All these months the diving is amazing in this region with water temperatures of 25º-28º. Water temperatures in winter (mid-December to February) are still 23º. There are excellent deals on boat discounts and a minimum number of boats in the area, the dive sites are exclusive for you.

WHAT TO BRING

Please plan to travel light, as on all live-aboard dive yachts, space is limited. We recommend that you pack your gear in soft luggage such as a duffel bag for easy stowage and to add to your comfort in your cabin. Clothing should be lightweight, comfortable sportswear and swimsuits are a must. A light sweater or jacket is ideal for evenings.

Dress is always casual and informal.

Additional items you may want to bring are sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and walking shoes for your time on shore.

The North Route from Hurghada

On this route we will visit dive sites as famous worldwide as the Ras Mohamed National Park, the Gordon Reef, Thomas and Jackson in the Strait of Tiran, the coral reef gardens of Small Crack and Shaab Ali and of course, one of the best wrecks in the world, the SS Thistlegorm.

The route ‘Wrecks and Reefs’ is the most complete and varied.

This route is ideal both for those who want to discover the famous Red Sea and for those who are going for the first time on a diving cruise Liveaboard. It is suitable for all levels of diving, from novice divers to the most experienced TEC divers, although we recommend a minimum level of Advanced or similar.

The navigation is very short and pleasant, the diving points being further away after about two hours sailing.

Its diversity allows you to enjoy dives in spectacular walls, incredible schools of fish and majestic reefs in the Ras Mohamed National Park, you can enjoy quiet nights and dreamlike landscapes like the Sinai Peninsula, or the multiple islands with its magnificent lagoons and reefs.

The Straits of Tiran are the narrow sea passages between the Sinai and Arabian peninsulas which separate the Gulf of Aqaba from the Red Sea. These reefs, named after British cartographers are world famous for their extrordinary diversity of corals and strong south westerly currents that make them home to many large pelagic fish.

Between dives, guests may snorkel, explore secluded beaches or relax in many of the comfortable sitting areas on the yacht.

We will visit the Strait of Gubal and all the wrecks in this area where we will remember part of modern history visiting, probably the most famous wreck in the world - the SS Thistlegorm, sunk in World War II and discovered by Jacques Cousteau in the ‘50s.

We will explore the spectacular reef of Abu Nuhas with wrecks Giannis D and Carnatic. And enjoy an amalgam of colours and corals in dives such as Small Crack or Shag Rock, even with a bit of luck, do snorkelling with dolphins.

Dive sites

  • Ras Mohammed National Park, Anemone City, Shark Reef and Yolanda Reef, Jackfish Alley, RasGhozlani, Straits of Tiran, Gordons, woodhouse, jacksons reefs, Gubal Strait, SS Thistlegorm, Dunraven, Giannis D, Kingston, Ras Umm Sid and Small Crack
