The Emperor Superior is 37m long and 8.3m wide, is comfortable, elegant and built especially for diving.  They offer the best liveaboard vacation in both diving and spare-time activities. After an exhilarating day of diving aboard the Emperor Superior, enjoy the rest of your day on her spacious Sundeck, at the Bar, Indoor Salon or rest in your air-conditioned cabin.

OUR CABINS

The boat has 5 types of Cabins: Standard Twin Cabin - Lower Deck, Lower Deck Bunk Cabin, Standard Twin Upper Deck Cabin, Upper Deck Double Cabin and Main Deck Single Cabin.

AMENITIES

For the time when you are not diving, the Emperor Superior features many entertainment options: Audio-video entertainment, a library, board games and computer/laptop with local internet connection when in range. If sun worshipping is your passion, lounge on the Fly Deck. Perhaps you need to cool down with a drink at the upstairs Bar or relax in the large covered Sundeck area.

FOOD ON BOARD

After all, a relaxing meal prepared with care and style is the best way to remain full of energy for the next dive, you will be offered a choice of Chef prepared meals served Buffet style. Soft drinks, tea, coffee and water are provided as well as red wine with being served with Dinner. Beer and other wines are available for a charge.

EXTRA INFORMATION

  • Complementary transfers are on a shared basis for all Emperor guests transferring between airports / resorts / boats.
  • This might mean waiting at the airport for guests from other flights or collecting guests from local hotels.
  • All divers must dive at all times with an SMB and dive computer.Approx. 21 - 23 dives 20+ dives recommended Open Water Inexperienced divers may find some dives challenging and may be asked by the Cruise Director to skip dives that are not suitable for their diving experience.
  • If you are an Open Water Diver when joining our Red Sea itineraries, we recommend taking advanced training on board to maximize your enjoyment from the trip.
  • You are expected to be able to complete each dive with your buddy or following the guide.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • For this itinerary you need to possess open water certification and a minimum of 20 logged dives

PROGRAM

  • DAY 1 Safety information, introduction of the crew, necessary diving procedures, cabin assignment and orientation of the boat will be carried out before leaving the port. During the trip to our first dive site for a dive control, take this opportunity to familiarize yourself with the boat and get comfortable. Note: This is a sample itinerary and the number of dives, dive sites, etc. It may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and other unpredictable factors.
  • DAY 2 - 6 In this itinerary you will dive the best of the area where you will visit famous shipwrecks in the north of the Red Sea along with some impressive diving reefs.
  • DAY 7 2 dives in the morning, depending on the flight schedules of the guests dinner is served on board Back at the port, you will have time to visit the city
  • DAY 8 Breakfast around 9 am before check out and transfers

ROUTE INFORMATION

  • This itinerary presents the best of both worlds, where famous shipwrecks are visited in the north of the Red Sea along with some impressive diving reefs.
  • The famous horseshoe-shaped reef of Shaab The Erg is a perfect example of the reefs offered on this cruise with its beautiful garden of hard corals and the opportunity to see dolphins. Abu Nuhas has four well-known shipwrecks: Giannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K ('shipwreck of tiles') and Kimon M ('ruin of lentils'), all of them offering spectacular dives and lots of fish life.
  • Between dives in wrecks you will also visit the reefs of the Gubal Strait, the Gulf of Suez and the north of Hurghada. A variety of deep walls and hard coral gardens with a lot of reef fish make it worth a visit. The night dives can be excellent, since the island of Gubal offers protected anchorages for the night.
  • A small wreck at 8-10 meters makes a spectacular night dive with lionfish, scorpion fish and its giant resident eel, as well as the Ulysses shipwreck. Then, in Kingston, which is located in Shag Rock, Carina is near Sha'ab Ali and Dunraven in Beacon Rock.
  • Ras Mohamed is located at the southern tip of the Sinai and is one of the best preserved National Parks in Egypt, with waters full of nutrients, steep walls that descend to a depth of 1000 meters and attract a large number of large fish and are earned the reputation of One of the most important diving areas in the world.
  • While you're here, you can have the opportunity to dive in Shark Reef; a steep wall that falls in the blue, as well as the wreck of the Yolanda.
  • Finally, the most famous shipwreck in the Red Sea, the SS Thistlegorm, in Shaab Ali and includes a night dive in Thistlegorm. The Thistlegorm sank in 1941 after being bombed by the German Luftwaffe while on a mission to deliver a shipment of ammunition and other war materials to British troops in North Africa. From here, the ship heads towards Hurghada.

CANCELLATION POLICY

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have. After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies: 

  • 30 % non refundable
  • Between 120 days y 90 days before trip = 70 % refundable
  • Less than 90 days before trip = no refund

In case of cancellation the refund will be transferred to your bank account, credit card or paypal account within 10 working days

BEFORE TRAVELLING

  • Make sure you meet the requirements corresponding to your nationality and entry into the country you are visiting,
  • Make sure your passport is valid at least six months after the date you plan to leave the country
  • Diving insurance is mandatory for divers of ages on all our trips: bring your certificate as proof
  • It is strongly recommended to hire travel insurance that is appropriate for the type of diving holidays booked
  • Check the electrical standards (such as which plugs are used) in your destination country before travelling and bring the appropriate adaptor if necessary.
  • The itinerary and the number of dives are indicative and are subject to weather conditions and conditions: safety always comes first
  • All divers must provide their diving certification card
  • Diving computers are compulsory
  • Local rates, fuel surcharges, distance rates, port fees, etc. may change without notice due to changes in government policy, changes in the price of oil, etc. The changes are beyond our control and the increases must be paid if the boat requests them. We will endeavour to inform you of any changes as soon as possible. A change in these rates does not entitle you to cancel the trip.
