The 24 metre Komodo Shalom Liveaboard is the newest member of the Wicked Diving fleet. Operating from September 1st, 2018 she is a comfortable, seasoned veteran of Indonesian waters. While only 13 years old, she has explored the seas of Eastern Indonesia that whole time. She is very strong, capable and designed to explore the world around us.

Rather than pack on dozens of divers – we always keep things small! With only 16 guests, we can cater to your needs…as well as reduce our impact on dive sites.

Updated to modern standards – each bed has been designed as a “sleep pod” with individual power outlet, LED reading lamp, personal fan and privacy curtain. Cabins are fully air-conditioned and have secure storage for personal gear.

The accommodation is in personal privacy bunks. Each bunk has its own power and lights, as well as security area. Privacy curtains and sound-insulated walls makes for great comfort and serenity. She also sports several hot water bathrooms throughout the boat. Special requests for upper or lower suites are subject to availability.

We have 4 Twin Berth cabins and a large single (1) Eight Berth cabin. Our twin and 8 berth cabins are all fitted with the sleeping pods for each guest comfort. All cabins are air conditioned and with sea view windows. Each of our cabins has 220v plug sockets in the cabin as well as in the pods, so you can charge your battery packs or your dive torch.

The wheel house (captains quarters) is found in the middle of the boat with the main dining area located just in front, where you can help yourself with coffee, tea, toast, water, electrolyte drinks and fresh fruit which is always on the table for your convenience.  There are large dining areas and a large front shaded deck space. It is very easy to find your own chill out space aboard the boat.

The dive deck is a custom built platform with filling station an additional shower, as well as more faucets for rinsing and access to diving dinghies for direct entry.

Not too fancy, not too cheap - just right!

The Komodo Shalom phinisi offers liveaboard dive trips from 3 to 6-nights where divers will get the chance to see anything from pygmy seahorses to large numbers of migrating manta rays. Diving in Komodo National Park offers something for everyone with trips departing from Labuan Bajo on a Tuesday or Saturday. Once a month there is also a special dive trip that coincides with the full moon.

With only small groups and far more than diving, we make plenty of time for non-diving activities, ranging from site-seeing on the Islands to Beach and reef clean-ups.
