OUR BOAT

Completely renovated in 2017, the Solitude Adventurer liveaboard offers year-round dive safaris in some of the best dive areas in Indonesia. Catering to 18 guests, she was built by divers for divers to offer modern comforts and high levels of service. 

OUR CABINS

There is a choice of 3 cabins styles on board, including 1 Stateroom with King bed or 2 twins plus a day bed, 6 Deluxe cabins with twin beds and 1 Standard quad cabin, perfect for a family or group of friends. Each cabin is en-suite with hot and cold water shower and features AC, safety deposit box, hairdryer, bath/face towels and shower gel and shampoo. Located on either the main or upper deck all cabins also have large picture windows offering stunning views.

AMENITIES

Social areas include an indoor lounge, library, bar and dining room as well as a shaded outdoor lounge and dining area. There is also a large sundeck located on the top level, a perfect place to enjoy the sea breeze and take in the surroundings. Photographers are well catered to as there is a dedicated camera station with separate rinse tank, air gun, and towels just for cameras, as well as a digital camera studio with PC for editing. Nitrox is also available at an extra charge for those certified.

FOOD ON BOARD

Freshly prepared dishes of local and international cuisine is served buffet-style, and self-serve snacks are available around the clock. Soft drinks, beer, wine and alcohol are available to purchase on board and there is no corkage fee on BYO drinks. 

DIVING WITH US

Solitude Adventurer itineraries explore the best dive areas in Indonesia. Safaris range from 7 - 12 nights depending on the locations, and up to 3-4 dives can be completed per day. Areas visited include Raja Ampat, Misool, Ambon, the Banda Sea, Maumere and Komodo National Park.

MOST RELEVANT INFORMATION

• The trip begins in Sorong and ends in Sorong
• The closest airport is Sorong/Dominique Edward Osok (SOQ)
• You will be met by someone of the staff  who will take you directly to the boat

EMBARKATION AND DEPARTURE

• You can check in on the boat as of 08:00
• The boat departs Sorong at around 16:00 on the same day
• The vessel is equipped with UK 3 pin power sockets
• Accepted payment methods on board: Cash - USD, VISA
• DIN/INT adaptors are available on board
• Towels and soap are included

ARRIVAL AND DISEMBARKATION

• Your last dives will be on the second to last day in the morning
• It is your responsibility to ensure you respect the 24 hour no-fly time after your last dive!
• The boat docks back in Sorong in the evening on the second to last day
• Check out and disembarkation is around 08:00 on the last day.

EXTRA INFORMATION

• You should be in town in the morning or better the previous night to get adjusted.
• Currently this trip is scheduled to use the port of Sorong(SOQ). However, the government of Raja Ampat is considering to ask all liveaboards on Raja Ampat trips to go through the port of Waisai in the future. Waisai is about a 2h ferry ride from Sorong and has its own small airport, Marinda airport (RJM).
• There is NOT a confirmed date for this change in regulation yet.

PROGRAM

DAY 1

• Transfer to the boat, Check-in on board Solitude Adventurer, Crew introduction and welcome briefing, ship orientation
• Assign cabins, Equipment assessment, travel to first check dive

DAY 2 - 6

• Dive, eat and sleep will be your only worries for the next days
• Enjoy your full board liveaboard diving safari
• During these days we´ll dive the best dive sites in the area

DAY 7

• Two dives in the morning
• Then the crew wash your equipment for you while you relax on the sundeck or download your pictures, enjoying our trip video as well just before dinner with all your new friends

DAY 8

• Check out from 8:00 a.m
• After breakfast we transfer you ashore to continue your vacation

• There will also be a hike to the Paynemo view point (after 3rd dive) and a speedboat tour. After dinner, overnight sail to Misool area.

MISOOL AREA

• Misool area – with literally 100’s of dives around this magnificent area we will be in diver’s paradise for a few days.
• Soft corals, gorgonians – some of the pretties corals in the world – and the kingdom of the pygmy seahorse! Pinnacles with masses of fish.
• Blue water mangroves (crocs depending !) 
• The Mantas call us to Dampier Strait where they hang out at their cleaning stations. This place is also fabulous for macro diving with critters such as Pegasus, Pontohi Pygmy Seahorse, pipefish etc.
• Arborek, with a lovely village and a jetty great for diving! The jetty pillars are covered in soft corals – a photographer’s delight and also good for macro such as signal gobies, nudibranchs and more photos.

CANCELLATION POLICY

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

Your reservation request is non-binding and can be cancelled at any time within the first 72 hours. During this time you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our booking team to any other questions you may have. After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

• 30% deposit will not be refunded
• Less than 120 days but more than 90 days before the departure date all payments will be refunded, less 35% of the total cost.
• Less than 90 days before the departure date, no refunds will be made.

In case of cancellation, the refund will be transferred to your bank account, credit card or paypal account within 10 working days.

BEFORE TRAVELLING

• Make sure you meet the requirements corresponding to your nationality and the entry in the country you are visiting
• Make sure your passport is valid at least six months after the date you plan to leave the country
• Diving insurance is mandatory for divers of all ages on all of our trips: bring your certificate as proof
• It is strongly recommended to take out travel insurance that is appropriate for the type of diving holidays booked
• Check the electrical standards (such as which plugs are used) in your destination country before travelling and bring the appropriate adaptor if necessary.
• The itinerary and the number of dives are indicative and are subject to weather conditions and conditions: safety is always first
• All divers must provide their diving certification card
• Diving computers are compulsory
• Local rates, fuel surcharges, distance rates, port fees, etc. may change without notice due to changes in government policy, changes in the price of oil, etc. The changes are beyond our control and the increases must be paid if the boat requests them. We will endeavour to inform you of any changes as soon as possible. A change in these rates does not entitle you to cancel the trip.
