M/Y Azalea Philippines is a comfortable 21 m vessel, newly built in 2018 and catering for just 10 guests in 5 modern cabins. M/Y Azaleas's motto is "built by divers, for divers" and it shows in every corner of its design. 


There are four comfortable air-conditioned bunk bed cabins on board, each with an en-suite bathroom with shower and a European-sized bunk bed. The fifth cabin is larger, the Master Cabin is on the lower deck and has a double bed and en-suite bathroom.


The ship is made up of three decks: cabin deck, main deck (dive deck) and sun deck. The indoor dining space is found on the main deck, and leads to the thoughtfully-designed diving platform which provides ample space for storage of cylinders, personal equipment and for gearing up, as well as a place for cameras and an additional bathroom. A tender is available for easy drop-offs and pickups. 


Delicious, varied meals are freshly prepared on board and any special dietary requirements can be catered for if advance notice is given. Snacks, Tea, coffee and soft drinks are included in your package, alcohol can be purchased on board.


Azalea liveaboard also offers itineraries to El Nido, Coron and Apo Reefs. This dive trip offers something for everyone. From the impressive wrecks of WWII in Coron Bay to the wealth of marine life and big-fish sightings found at Apo Reef, this is a fantastic Philippines dive destination.

  • Explore one of the area's healthiest reefs and some of the world's most beautiful coral, with its incredible biodiversity.
  • The Tubbataha Reef Natural Park is a protected in the Philippines located in the middle of the Sulu Sea. The marine and bird sanctuary consists of two huge atolls (named the North Atoll and South Atoll) and the smaller Jessie Beazley Reef, covering a total area of 97,030 hectares (239,800 acres). It is located 150 kilometres southeast of Puerto Princesa City, the capital of Palawan province.
  • The Reef is home to some of the most beautiful corals in the world, and Tubbataha Reef boasts magnificent diversity of marine life. 
  • This rich and varied trip is built around the protected Tubbataha National Marine Park, home to pristine reefs, over 600 species of fish, 300 species of coral, 11 species of shark, 13 species of dolphins and whales, and manta rays.



  • Safety briefing, crew introduction, necessary dive paperwork, cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place before departing the harbor.
  • Journey to the first dive site for a check dive. Please take this opportunity to familiarize yourself with the vessel and make yourself comfortable. 
  • Please Note: This is a sample itinerary and nº of dives, dive sites, etc. may be subject to change due to weather conditions and other unforeseeable factors.

DAY 2 - 5

  • 4 dives per day exploring the stunning Tubbataha area. 
  • Huge slopes and vertical walls with 30 m+ visibility, giving you the feeling of swimming next to a mountain.
  • Some of the biggest marine megafauna: whale sharks, manta rays and sharks, grey reef sharks, hammerheads and tiger sharks.
  • Spectacular schools of fish like jacks and barracuda.
  • A carpet of coral stretching out horizontally and vertically along the atolls.
  • It is so isolated that it can only be reached by liveaboard.
  • The reefs are home to a very high density and biodiversity of marine life and thus are a diver's absolute paradise!


  • The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip at around 4 pm. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
  • Departure to Puerto Princesa in the late afternoon.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have. After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies: 

  • 30 % is non-refundable
  • Between 120 days and 90 days before the trip = 70 % is refundable
  • 90 days before the trip = no refund

In case of cancellation the refund will be transferred to your bank account, credit card or paypal account within 10 business days


  • Make sure you meet the requirements for your nationality and entry into the country you are visiting,
  • Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months after the date you plan to leave the country
  • Dive insurance is mandatory for divers of all ages on all our trips: bring your certificate as proof
  • It is strongly recommended to take out a travel insurance that is appropriate for the type of dive vacation booked
  • Check the electrical standards (such as what plugs are used) in your destination country before you travel and bring the appropriate adapter if necessary.
  • Itinerary and number of dives are indicative and subject to weather and conditions: safety always comes first
  • The operator of the vessel is not responsible for civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, illness, epidemics, accidents, injuries, damage, loss and theft, quarantine, customs regulations, changes to flight schedules, delays, deportation or refusal of entry by immigration authorities and other circumstances beyond our control.
  • In the event of a change in the cruise itinerary due to a major cause there is no refund, if there would be a refund if the duration of a cruise were to change, the affected passengers will be offered a credit or refund of the cruise fare pro-rated for the number of days of reduction of the cruise itinerary that was scheduled.
  • In the event that a cruise is cancelled, the ship will make every effort to provide a suitable alternative including, the option to participate in another available ship.
  • If no alternative offered is accepted by the affected cruise passengers, the ship reserves the right to provide a refund of the amount of the cruise fare paid or not.
  • All divers must provide their dive certification card
  • Dive computers are mandatory
  • Local rates, fuel surcharges, distance rates, port fees, etc. may change without notice due to changes in government policy, changes in oil prices, etc. Changes are beyond our control and increases must be paid upon request. We will endeavor to inform you of any changes as soon as possible. A change in these rates does not give you the right to cancel the trip.
