The impressive Ocean Hunter III is 96 feet (29m) and a custom designed vessel designed by Divers, for Divers and Photographic Enthusiasts and Specialists. The English speaking crew members create a Dive Safari Vacation customized to each guest.


16 guests can be accommodated in the 8 plush, air conditioned cabins. Cabins available include 2 Standard cabins with one Queen size bed and one Single Bunk above, 4 Deluxe cabins with one King size bed and one Single Bunk above, and 2 Upper Deck Master Staterooms with one King size bed and 1 one Single bed (convertible from the sofa). All roomy cabins are equipped with private head, shower and individual climate controls.

The Master Staterooms boast a large living space, and are also equipped with a mini bar, flat screen TV,  DVD with USB media support (so you can enjoy your own entertainment). The electrical sockets are universal and have USB charging ports.


The huge dimensions of the Ocean Hunter III Palau liveaboard mean that you will never feel cramped. The air conditioned Saloon has cozy couches, entertainment systems, Espresso machine, Icemaker, Mini-bar and Computer Room with email and photo/video editing services. The outdoor shaded areas and Sun Deck offer an impressive amount of space. If you want to be sociable you can meet your buddy at the mini bar for your favourite adult beverage. If you desire solitude, nap on the shaded Sun Decks.

Ocean Hunter III offers a full bar and refrigerator of drinks for guests. Mineral water is always free, however we must charge $1.50 for soft drinks and $3.00 for beer. These charges go towards developing a much-needed recycling program in Palau for the disposal of the cans. You are responsible for marking down your own tab at the refrigerator. Fine wine is available from $40 to $75 per bottle.

If you are looking for some extra pampering on your dive vacation, soak in one of the two Jacuzzis or treat yourself with something from the onboard Spa menu. For the more energetic guests, Snorkelling and exciting Shore Excursions are offered between dives.


Renowned Chef Tova Har-el developed an incredible gourmet menu specializing towards the needs of active Divers. Tova designed the menu to include international delicacies from countries such as Palau, Italy, the Mediterranean, France and Japan. The expansive menu even includes fresh Sashimi and Sushi. She also throws in a few recipes from her personal repertoire. Fresh vegetables and fruit are served at each meal. Special diets can be accommodated with advance notice. Snacks will be served between meals to make sure no guest ever goes hungry aboard the Ocean Hunter III.


The beautiful liveaboard yacht, Ocean Hunter III, is the newest and most luxurious of the Palau fleet, the perfect platform for the restless modern-day Dive Safari Adventurers. The dives take place in the western most islands of the West Caroline Islands, which is part of Micronesia.  Ocean Hunter III is designed for professional underwater photography, TV and Film production, with a sizeable working area, 110, 220 and 415 volt electrical outlets and extra storage space. Ocean Hunter III offers powerful PC’s for movie and video editing with download, email and cd burning services.


Specially designed to Mega Yachts standards; the Master State Rooms boast a large living space, extra large double bed, private TV, DVD and Mini Bar, computer/toilette table and a sofa / bed. Your actual schedule may vary as all our trips are based around sea conditions, tides, currents and moon cycles. We want to dive the right site at the right time!


  • 2:30PM: First dive on Helmet Wreck (WWII Japanese ship which is easy to dive and you can check your gear and weights)
  • 4:00-4:30PM- Ocean Hunter III will cross the lagoon to German Channel
  • 4:30PM- Second dive at German Channel or Big Drop Off.
  • 7 PM Night dive
  • Dinner (can be moved before night dive at customer request on any day)

DAY 2 – 7

Daily routine 

  • Wake up at 6:00-6:30am with coffee, tea and sweet rolls.
  • 7:00 AM- First dive
  • 8:30 AM- Full breakfast
  • 10:00 AM- Second dive
  • 12 noon- Lunch
  • 1:00 PM- Third dive
  • 4:00 PM- Fourth dive
  • 7:00 PM- Night dive
  • Dinner


  • Guests have breakfast at 7:00 AM and disembark Ocean Hunter III at 8:00 AM.
  • We provide the transportation to the hotel or the airport.

Dive Sites

The diving on these days will be at some of the following dive sites: German Channel, Big Drop Off, New Drop Off, Blue Holes, German wall, Barnum wall, Blue Corner, Virgin blue hole, Turtle Cove, Ngedebus coral gardens, Ngedebus wall, Fairyland.

Ocean Hunter III moves to the Peleliu area and we dive at the following divesites:

Peleliu Wall, Peleliu Corner, Peleliu Coral Garden, Orange Wall, Peleliu Expressway, White Beach, Yellow Wall, Peleliu Cut, etc. For those who are interested we can offer a land tour on the island of Peleliu which was a major battlefield during WWII.

Return to Ngemelis area for another dive and then make our way to Jellyfish Lake (snorkelling and hiking) and then to on Ulong. Places that we dive there are: Ulong Channel, Siaes Tunnel, Siaes Corner and Shark City.

A dive in the Ulong area and then as we approach Koror, a shipwreck dive (Iro or Chuyo Maru) and then Chandelier Cave. If time permits we can also offer a trip to Mandarin fish Lake. Arrive at the dock in the late afternoon. Guests can rinse their gear and start packing.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have. After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies: 

  • 34% of the total booking amount will be charged if you cancel more than 180 days prior to arrival
  • 67% will be charged if you cancel between 180 and 93 days prior to arrival
  • 100% will be charged if you cancel less than 93 days prior to arrival

In case of cancellation the refund will be transferred to your bank account, credit card or paypal account within 10 business days


  • Make sure you meet the country's requirements corresponding to your nationality
  • Make sure your passport is valid at least six months after the date you plan to visit the country
  • Diving insurance is mandatory for divers of all ages on all of our trips: bring your certificate as proof
  • It is strongly recommended to have travel insurance that is appropriate for the type of diving holidays you are going to do
  • Check the electrical standards (such as which plugs are used) in your destination country before travelling and bring the appropriate adaptor if necessary.
  • The itinerary and the number of dives are indicative and are subject to weather conditions and conditions: safety is always first
  • All divers must provide their diving certification card
  • Diving computers are compulsory
  • Local rates, fuel surcharges, distance rates, port fees, etc. may change without notice due to changes in government policy, changes in the price of oil, etc. The changes are beyond our control and the increases must be paid if the boat requests them. We will endeavor to inform you of any changes as soon as possible. A change in these rates does not entitle you to cancel the trip.
