Manta Queen 7 operates 5 Days & 5 Nights trips to Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Koh Surin, Richelieu Rock and Boon Sung Wreck.

Our liveaboard vessel is a 26 meters long and 5 meters wide wooden hull built boat that is manned with 4 Dive Staff and 6 Boat Crew.


Manta Queen 7 accommodates 22 guests in 9 comfortable air conditioned shared Twin Bed Bunk Cabins and 1 Quad Bed Bunk Cabin.


There is plenty of space to enjoy the time in between dives in the Saloon with HD-TV, the open dining area or on the large Sundeck.  The dinghy on Manta Queen 7 gives you the opportunity to spend some time on the beautiful beaches.


We pride ourselves in offering the best tasting Thai Cuisine on board our complete fleet. Nonetheless we offer a variety of Western dishes too during your cruise. We are able to cater Vegetarians, Vegans and on all our boats we banned the use of Monosodium Glutamate. If you are allergic to Nuts or other food ingredients please tell us during your check in at Khao Lak Scuba Adventures. For more information or special requirements please contact us. All meals on board are served buffet style freshly cooked from the on board kitchen. Snacks and fruits are served in between dives.


The Similan Islands, Richelieu Rock and its Whale Sharks. Liveaboard trips in this area are one of the best Thailand dive experiences. Its huge granite boulders with caverns and arches offer shark diving, schools of fish, huge sea fans, lush greenery and white sand beaches ring the nine islands, completing the view from above water.

Diving at Richelieu Rock, will bring you to Whale Sharks, Mantas and Barracudas, not to mention the macro-life hiding amongst Richelieu's famous purple soft corals and Sea Fans. Koh Tachai and Koh Bon, members of the Similan Islands National Park, are often visited en-route to Richelieu, and offer more Pelagics, Napoleon Wrasse and Night Diving for Macro-Critters.

  • Massive boulders, caves, reefs and passages are home to over 500 species of hard and soft corals and astonishing pelagic life such as leopard sharks, guitar rays, whale sharks, manta rays and turtles.

  • Richelieu Rock (called in Thai Hin Plo Naam) is a dive site in the Andaman Sea near the Surin Islands. It is part of the Mu Koh Surin National Marine Park although being about 18 km east of Surin Island. The most famous dive sites of Thailand, Richelieu Rock is an isolated diving pinnacle to the east of the Surin Islands. The site is marked by the top with a pinnacle which is 1 metre above the sea level during low tide, and disappears underwater during high tide.
  • A solitary island located 20 km north of Koh Bon within the tour of all Manta Queen Diving Boats and Live aboards cruising along the Similan diving Sites, Koh Tachai has magnificent white sandy Thailand Scuba & Snorkel beaches with two interesting Thailand dive sites, Southern Thailand diving Pinnacles and Scuba diving Thailand Eastern Reef. Thailand diving Koh Tachai Pinnacle or Twin Peaks, are a pair of submerged Thailand diving pinnacles located 500 metres south of Koh Tachai and are marked by a couple of buoys in the National Marine Park Similan Islands and Surin Island.


  • Register on the ship starting at 6.30 pm, general report of the ship, cabin assignment and equipment configuration. Departure from the pier at 8:00 p.m.

DAY 2 - 6

  • Spend the next few days at the best dive sites in Similan, Koh Bon, West Ridge, Tachai Pinnacle, Surin Islands, Richelieu Rock and Boonsung Wreck.
  • Night dives will be available.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have. After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • 30% deposit is not refundable
  • 60% will be charged if you cancel between 30 and 1 day prior to arrival
  • 100% will be charged if you cancel less than 1 day prior to arrival

In case of cancellation the refund will be transferred to your bank account, credit card or paypal account within 10 business days


  • Make sure you meet the country's requirements corresponding to your nationality
  • Make sure your passport is valid at least six months after the date you plan to visit the country
  • Diving insurance is mandatory for divers of all ages on all of our trips: bring your certificate as proof
  • It is strongly recommended to have travel insurance that is appropriate for the type of diving holidays you are going to do
  • Check the electrical standards (such as which plugs are used) in your destination country before travelling and bring the appropriate adaptor if necessary.
  • The itinerary and the number of dives are indicative and are subject to weather conditions and conditions: safety is always first
  • All divers must provide their diving certification card
  • Diving computers are compulsory
  • Local rates, fuel surcharges, distance rates, port fees, etc. may change without notice due to changes in government policy, changes in the price of oil, etc. The changes are beyond our control and the increases must be paid if the boat requests them. We will endeavor to inform you of any changes as soon as possible. A change in these rates does not entitle you to cancel the trip.
